Our Journey Since 1982

IT was late 1982 AD it was Shukla paksh it was Magha month. It was Basanth Panchami when young Jugal Kishore and a group of likeminded Punjabis’ confabulated why Punjabi Diaspora In Karnataka is not organised.

These young men designed “PUNJABI SABHA” [PS] as a structured “Association-of- person” registered under Indian society Act 1860. It is a structured platform for integration of and celebration with Punjabi Diaspora.

Punjabi Sabha, Bengaluru warmly invites you to its 19th Consecutive Mata Di Chowki—an evening of divine devotion and community bonding. Immerse yourself in soulful bhajans by JD Sufi & troupe, experience the spiritual energy of Maa Durga, and join fellow devotees in prayer and celebration. The event will conclude with a heartfelt serving of Mahaprasad (dinner). Your participation also supports a noble cause, helping fund the education and medical care of 11 Kanjaks for an entire year. Come, be a part of this sacred celebration and receive Maa’s blessings.
