IT was late 1982 AD it was Shukla paksh it was Magha month. It was Basanth Panchami when young Jugal Kishore and a group of likeminded Punjabis’ confabulated why Punjabi Diaspora In Karnataka is not organised.
These young men designed “PUNJABI SABHA” [PS] as a structured “Association-of- person” registered under Indian society Act 1860. It is a structured platform for integration of and celebration with Punjabi Diaspora.

Anup Bajaj and Janak are “sutradhari” to the bye law for PS. Anup Bajaj approved the suggestion from Janak to limit to two terms of two years each for all office bearer of PS.
